Travel to the heart of Packer country and join others for the Cellcom Greenbay Marathon on Sunday, May 18.

Run the streets and neighborhoods of Green Bay, enjoy six miles of the Fox River Trail and finish with the final mile on the frozen tundra of historic Lambeau Field.

“First, you get to run through Lambeau Field,” says Pam Mankowski, the director of marketing. “That’s the biggest draw, all races start and finish at Lambeau. Then we have a big post race themed party in the parking lot with beer, brats, root beer and much more.” And don’t miss the Prevea Health and Fitness Expo. The expo, which used to be held only on Saturday, will now open on Friday afternoon and run through Saturday. Held at the Lambeau Field Atrium plays host to more than 80 booths featuring the latest running shoes, sports apparel, training tips and health and nutrition products. Numerous clinics will also be held that describe the course for the marathon as well as give tips to first time marathoners.

The Cellcom Greenbay Marathon will raise money for the Boys and Girls Club of Green Bay, the Salvation Army of Green Bay and the American Red Cross Lakeland Chapter.  www.cellcomgreenbaymarathon.com
